Trivia[]

SSFCYOA_-_The_Journey_Begins_-_Part_3

SSFCYOA - The Journey Begins - Part 3

Part 3 of 3 of the first CYOA series.

Differences[]

  • Grapefruitman is apparently a Brodyquest fanboy.
  • "Epic Flashback" in The Journey Begins
  • Blinder instance in SSFCYOA gets an effect
  • Certain instances have their brightnesses increased (most notably the collision of powerful blasts)
  • Stone of Jas instance is warped
  • RuneScape Heaven has an effect
  • Seren encounter has a warning
  • Zaros encounter is Sepia
    • Some of Zaros' attacks are actually bright enough to color the entire arena.
  • Music
  • Animated
  • Certain frames are cut out to avoid long strips of filler (most notably the Nyan Cat encounter)
  • Teleportation beams get pixellation effects
  • One particular frame has text added
  • Flashbacks are completely black and white. The comic has the text colored.
  • Different connection lost screens
  • One frame (other than connection lost and narration screens) appears in The Fall of Guthix that didn't appear in SSFCYOAII.
  • One particular instance is blurred.
  • Title screens
  • DVDs are made for each video
  • The Screenshot Fake CYOA Master Edition has particular effects for each part of the CYOA series, with SSFCYOA appearing the oldest.

Music[]

  • In the Praesent Terrarum video, there are three 8-bit music tracks that play throughout the video as battle themes. Out of those three, two are remade. These tracks play during the following battles:
Battle with Baculum*
Battle with Lucien*
Grapefruit Man Battle
Final Battle
Dream

-Baculum and Lucien battle tracks are both the same music track. The Lucien battle music was remade from the Bacculum battle music.
  • Praesent Terrarum is the only SSFCYOA video to use 8-Bit music.
  • Praesent Terrarum is the only SSFCYOA video to use a music track for the credits that is NOT Pinball Wizard.
  • The final boss music from SSFCYOA was reused during the opening of SSFCYOAII.
  • The music that plays during Zamorak's final form is the same music used in the menu for the second DVD (DVDs not available to anyone)

Easter Eggs[]

An 8 bit Rick Roll and the Trolololo appear in Praesent Terrarum.

Brodyquest appears in Praesent Terrarum. Most of it plays, rather than a few seconds like Rick Roll or Trololo
